ANDY HOWARD

MOLD MANAGER

Andy Howard brings over 20 years of amusement industry experience to the role of Mold Manager at Blue Hippo. He is responsible for overseeing all the work done in the mold department and ensuring that our clients are receiving the highest quality products. Andy works closely with the design department, project manager and art director to ensure that fabrication methods align with the creative intent. 

With professional make-up artist training from Jose Blasco, Andy has done makeup for Universal Halloween Horror Nights and SeaWorld Spooktakular for 13 years. He also worked in the Art Department for Ripley’s Believe It or Not for over 18 years. In this time there he gained experience in carpentry, mold-making, FRP, and scenic painting, eventually working his way up to managing and training the team. 

Andy’s decades of experience in the themed entertainment industry give him a unique insight into the custom fabrication methods required to bring our customer’s dreams to life. Andy’s passion is proven by the quality in everything that he creates and his strong leadership and communication skills make him an asset to the Blue Hippo Team.
